24: Open Racehorse to Riding Horse

The Tattersalls Ireland and Treo Eile Showing Pathways Series, For Thoroughbred mare or gelding 4 years old and over. Horses to be registered with Treo Eile (registration is FREE) at www.treoeile.com.  

  1. This Class is a Qualifier for the SPS
  2. For horses 4 years older, Mares and Gelding, any height. Riders minimum age 16 yo.
  3. Horses who have won a racehorse to riding horse class in previous seasons must compete in the Open class.
  4. Horses to be ridden in a snaffle bridle only, pelham or simple double bridle with a plain cavesson noseband.
  5. Riders will be asked to extend the canter with the class.
  6.  Horses to be ridden by the Judge
  7. Thoroughbreds are not required to have raced before to enter the classes

  1. All horse exhibitors must be onsite prior to 10am on show day
  2. The Iverk show will endeavour to keep to the listed times.  The show or its stewards will not be responsible if classes do not start at the allotted times for whatever reasons.
  3. Please be aware of pedestrian traffic at all times while moving horses through the showfield.
